Pashmina Shawl

The shawls are embroidered in Four Sided borders, with the help of a needle. It is very fine needle work and is carried out on Semi Pashmina and fine wool fabrics

• Derived from the soft undercoat that Changthangi goats grow during harsh winter conditions (up to 14,000 feet above sea level) and shed or are combed in the spring. 

• Fineness: Authentic pashmina fibers measure between 10 to 16 microns in diameter, making them exceptionally delicate, lightweight, and warm.

• Handcrafting: Because the ultra-fine yarn breaks easily in machines, authentic pashmina must be completely hand-spun on a charkha and handwoven on traditional handlooms.
